Stan Gebhardt has been involved in making maple syrup for over 30 years.  In 2004 he decided to tap some trees on Middle Bass and make some syrup.  His syrup was so popular that he has increased production each year since.  In February and March, 2006 he and Evelyn produced approximately 50 gallons of syrup. 

     Middle Bass Maple Syrup is made from the best sap available on Middle Bass Island. All sap is collected by hand and then boiled using the same methods that were in use 100 years ago.  The result is a delightfully sweet natural maple syrup.  Our syrup contains no additives or preservatives, only 100% pure Middle Bass Maple Syrup.
